L2.5 WordPress LMS Comprehensive Service Agreement

Kerry “Qays” Arthur, the service provider, offers WordPress deployment and maintenance services via the website QaysArthur.net.

By registering for the L2.5 WordPress LMS Comprehensive Service Agreement you hire the service provider to the services mentioned below for one website under the mentioned terms and conditions:

  1. Areas of Responsibility. The service provider will be responsible for the following areas on an ongoing basis:
    • Develop & Maintain: Responsible for the development and maintenance of the website, ensuring performance, security, and uptime.
    • Customize & Optimize: Source, maintain, and optimize themes, templates, and plugins to enhance website functionality and usability.
    • Integrate & Automate: Work with third-party integrations like to support tracking, automation, and lead generation.
    • Troubleshoot & Fix: Address urgent issues, bug fixes, and website updates in a timely manner with communication as outlined below.
    • Collaborate: Work closely with concerned parties to execute website updates, landing pages, and campaigns.
    • Ensure Performance: Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and SEO to improve user experience and conversions.
    • Secure & Monitor: Implement best practices for website security, backup management, and issue monitoring.
  2. Fees. The client will pay the service provider a monthly retainer fee of $400 in advance for the services. The retainer fee covers all tasks directly related to the Areas of Responsibility. The costs of plugins and third-party solutions will be borne by the client.
  3. Communication. The client will communicate with the service provider via email to request tasks, provide feedback, or report issues. The service provider will respond to the client’s requests within 24 hours and complete the tasks in a timely manner as agreed upon by both parties. Support emails with “urgent” in the subject will be responded to within 60 minutes. This commitment applies to seven requests per month. More than seven such requests will be subject to additional fees.
  4. Evaluation. This agreement will be subject to periodic evaluation and amendment as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
  5. Termination. This agreement will commence on the date of registration and will continue until terminated by either party. Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by giving written notice to the other party and thereafter using the relevant link on the service provider’s website to terminate membership. Upon termination, the service provider will stop performing any tasks and the client will pay any outstanding fees for the tasks performed until the date of termination.
  6. Disclaimer. The service provider will use reasonable care and skill in performing the WordPress maintenance and support services but does not guarantee that the client’s website will be error-free, secure, or optimized at all times. The service provider is not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use or misuse of the client’s website or any third-party products or services installed on the website.
  7. Governing Law. This agreement is governed by applicable laws in accordance with the Sharia. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved by Sharia arbitration before other remedies are sought.
